WebJan 12, 2013 · the heater assembly has 2 spacers between the 2 metal plates and 2 clips on the top. one of the "button" disks between the metal plates is broken. one is still intact. the plates dont touch on their own, but. im worried about the metal plates shorting out. dealer wants $600 for a new filter assembly. - after special ordering a week away.
