Pretty much step one on a carbed bike that isn't running well is to clean and tune the carbs. Two routes, it's either not getting enough fuel (more used as rpms rise). WebRSRBOB. There is probably very little resistance on the primary side of the coil, like less than 1 ohm. That is getting to be the new norm on a lot of coils nowadays. Some meters may not be sensitive enough to read down to a half ohm or less. If the bike is running at all, the primary side is ok.
